When it’s time to relax indoors, the Lodge offers many diversions. The heritage themed restaurant features locally sourced foods, a variety of North American and international dishes, and full, flavorful meals for vegetarians and vegans.

The recreation room includes a full sized pool table, ping pong table and indoor shuffleboard court, along with many board games.

The Red Bay Lodge is an 18,000 sq. ft. facility that includes the main lodge with 9 family and single rooms on the second floor.

  • Second floor Single Rooms include two twin beds, a bunk bed, four piece bathroom, desk, chairs and closet.
  • Second Floor Family Rooms come with a double bed, bunk bed, closet, desk, chairs and a four-piece bath

Surrounding the main lodge are 15 unique, old fashioned cabins.The cabins include:

  • A One bedroom cabin with two twin beds, three-piece bath, desk, chairs and closet
  • A One bedroom cabin with a double bed, three-piece bath, desk, chairs and closet
  • A Two bedroom cabin with a double bed in one room and two twin beds in other, three-piece bath, desk, chairs and closet.
  • A Two bedroom cabin with two twin beds in each room with separate entrances, three-piece bathroom, desk, chairs and closet.
  • The Family Units – a two bedroom cabin with double bed in one room and two sets of bunk beds in other, four piece bathroom, desk, chairs and living room with couch

Swimming

A private sandy beach is about 100m from the lodge.  Red Bay is surrounded by small islands which stop cold lake water from entering bay. Swimming at Red Bay is recognized by locals as one of the best of the shallow, warm water beaches on the Bruce Peninsula.

Cross Country Skiing

There are 19 year-round parks and 400 acres of Red Bay landscape that offer wonders to any cross country trek. Over forty kilometers of well-marked and well-groomed ski trails available at your ski tips, including the Rankin Trail, which can be easily, accessed right from the lodge itself. Other trails in the area include; the Sawmill Trail at Hepworth, The Bruce Trail at Colpoy’s Bay, and Ski Trails at Sauble Beach.

Snowmobiling

Over 1200 kilometers of well-marked and well-groomed trails are available off of Trail #8 just one kilometre south of the lodge entrance, making it convenient for you and your family to adventure and all over Bruce county.
